Re: Topeks

It was good to see Opie and Korry duking it out; congrates to Opie. That was fun. After eight runs and two days we wound up being separated by only 0.036 second in raw time. Unfortunately there were cones on my fast run Saturday, but it was still good stuff. Pics http://www.gotcone.com/pgallery/?le...

No, not at the moment.

There was an older set of CCW Classics (my current wheels) on FRRAX last week but they got snapped up pretty quick.

Are you looking to put some rubber under the daughter's Mazda? :P

Third place. Not bad Mark. Congrats.

That $100 from Kumho can't hurt.

Wish I could have been there. :(

That's why I can't get enough of Pro Solo. It has the best of both.

I'll drive halfway across the country (and would have this weekend if it weren't for school) for a Pro, but I actually have to think about going to a Tour only a few hours away.

Softening the rear will give you more grip there. That will make the understeer worse. FWIW over the years I swapped rear bars back and forth (between stock and larger than stock) as I changed things up front. Basically you need to get yourself as much front grip as you can and use the rear bar to f...

If a RWD car understeers it is a matter of applying power to induce oversteer and hopefully create a neutral condition. Yes, as you pointed out these cars can be driven quite a bit with the throttle but the above will make it understeer worse . If the car is already pushing and you give it a big do...

Absolutely 100% definitely go for a bigger front bar. It's the first thing most Stock class guys do, let alone Street Prepared. Try to stay away from the internet for "knowledge". Been there / done that too many times when I started out. Talk to guys who have won or are successful in cars like this....

Speaking of ride alongs.... does anybody know who rode with me on one of my later runs? He was pounding the imaginary passenger brake pedal quite vigorously, especially in both directions through the fast backside slalom. His foot flailings were sufficiently frenetic that I almost aborted the run, t...

I may have to cancel Toledo. Physics 1 started this week and is kicking my butt. I already cancelled my St. Louis Div entry for this weekend. Physics 2 (which starts the week of the Toledo Pro) will probably be worse. I'll have to see how June goes...... I'd really hate to cancel. And yeah... ESP is...

You need to find room on that list sometime for another black ESP car driving guy. No, not Opie. :D

Actually, I'd be happy just to have a ride along. I still haven't gotten to see this thing yet.

I'm happy they bumped the cap to get you in. Thirteen in the class, that should be a hoot.

TOLEDO PRO SOLO ENTRY LIST - ESP

Now, I wonder if we can get those tires of yours out there.... we'll have to talk sometime.
