3 February - MoKan Sunday Fun Drags

A few of us from NWA are coming up to MoKan next Sunday to beat the winter fever. The 240SX is 99% done with the winter project list, but I'm going to the dyno on 16 February and I don't feel like shattering my stock KA trans just yet. I'm throwing my 1979 KZ650 on my friend's trailer and I plan to ...

1nitroustracer and FlatBlack, you guys should both schedule your dyno time on the same day back to back. If you decide to use SprinfieldDyno.com I'll make up some excuse to be there working just to watch. Let the horsepower wars begin. Made 457 before water/meth and a couple tweeks. http://m157.pho...

Haters gon' hate and all, but people with similar setups are running well over 400 in the low 20s.

I'd be tickled pink if I make 350 wheel to be honest.

Not sure if it'd be any match for a boosted LS1 though haha

Well then, come over to MoKan sometime so I can see it ;) I'll be in a green 240SX, shattering my transmission on the line. What kind of power does that 240 put down? I'll let ya know next time I go to mokan I don't make it much that way it's a long drive for me. I do go to ORP quite often though. ...

Sounds more like a ST* than street modified.

You normally won't get bumped into that unless you're fooling around with the engine.

Back to racing with the OMR

All, Last year was 'interesting' to say the least. We had a temporary local autocross site, run by the local Corvette club, so I neglected to make it up to any of the Crowder events besides the one in May. The site in Rogers is gone, but that's probably for the best. I saw Mr. Bullit [Creech] at 100...

I know you probably don't want to buy new, but I found some General UHPs on closeout a few weeks ago

I was very impressed with the course, I thought it was going to be really tight and not very fun, but Bud did a really great job utilising the space we had available.

Great to see everyone!

Hopefully by the June event I'll have my LSD in and no fuel starvation while pulling Gs 8)
