Yep, the EF Civic is a CSP car. :( You can see why the '89-'91 Si is so good in STS. Just about everything else in the class is a DSP or FSP car when set up for Street Prepared. Not to mention that they're pretty much a boxier CRX, which is a STS2 car. Hrm. The Bridgestone RE-01 is the pick for stre...

If you keep the car prepared to IT rules, you can run it in C Street Prepared (CSP). From the rulebook: Cars listed as eligible in and prepared to the current national Improved Touring rules are permitted to compete in their respective Street Prepared classes. Neither Street Prepared nor Improved To...

I agree, Bud. Combining the SSS class with another event of some sort would help with the extra driving. I would be in.

The OMR awards banquet will be Saturday, January 26th.

Sorry, I contributed to the un-turnout. I'm hardcore enough to race/work in this weather, but getting to Missouri and back (at dark-thirty, below freezing) might have been hardcore enough to spend a few hours in a ditch. :(

This I didn't expect: THE FREEZING RAIN WILL SPREAD SOUTH TO THE INTERSTATE 44 CORRIDOR INCLUDING SPRINGFIELD AROUND 5 AM...AND REACH HIGHWAY 60 BY 8 AM. PERIODS OF FREEZING RAIN WILL CONTINUE DURING THE DAY SUNDAY. TOTAL ICE ACCUMULATIONS AROUND ONE QUARTER TO LOCALLY ONE HALF OF INCH ARE EXPECTED ...

I am going to try and make it. The latest weather from Weather.com and the NOAA both say it will be a bit too warm for any ice, sleet, or snow. Rain and cold haven't stopped me from autocrossing before. Should be just fine for tomorrow. The Sentra is leaking a little transmission fluid. I'll get und...

I am glad someone with m4d sk1Llz is taking on the job. I have fair color and Photoshop ability, but I am not so technically robust. Apparently, HTML and tables stopped being cool a decade ago. If anyone wants to take a trip down memory lane, here was the inspiration for the current scheme: ht...

My two cents: We should avoid scheduling on top of divisional and National Solo event dates within a reasonable drive. Scheduling early '08 local events is safe, but we might wait until the divisional and Tour schedule comes out for the nicer months. I read KC and KS regions are angling for Tour/Pro...

The two-event weekend works well for those who come in from a ways out of town to race only. For someone from Little Rock, KC, or STL, it makes it worth the drive. However, from the standpoint of a potential SSS, it would be a long weekend. I know there is interest from the nether-reaches of the OMR...

I have log diagrams, but they are extremely crude and juvenile.

For lot diagrams, here's the not-to-scale pic I use, minus crater:

Let us know how it goes.

Unfortunately, I won't be there to see the results. If I left right now, I'd be late!

There still may be some omrscca.org business cards in the trailer. Sarah had a ton made a couple of years ago and handed them out. I know I have a small pile in the glove box of the Sentra, and gave out a couple this year.

I wouldn't run the all-seasons unless there is snow on the ground. "All-season" is usually a world of tread squirm, soft sidewalls, shoulder chunking, and poor grip. If you are aggressive on the first run like me, you will have to tiptoe through the first maneuver that brakes or turns you from speed...
