I can't explain the reason why Saturday events draw less entries, but it's common in other regions, too. Best guess: work obligations outnumber religious obligations. The main complaint I heard regarding Saturday events is the number of OMR members who have Saturday jobs or spend Saturday with thei...

Need to use someone's air tools for a quick job...

So the spring on the front driver's side shock broke on my wife's Chevy Malibu. I need to use an air gun and a 13/16" socket to remove the top nut to get the spring off. I won't have time to do it until next week Thursday after work.

A class for a few hours and then you have to work with one of the SSS during two events for your work assignment. Then fill out some paperwork and send it off to the SCCA.

Another item to discuss within the Autocross Committee as well as with the board. I think it would be a good idea to set up another SSS training day so that we can get a few more SSS's for our region. I know I never had a change during the 2008 season to actually "apprentice" under a SSS even once, ...

Preregistration is a must so heats can be grouped and work assignments plotted before the event starts. I am still working on the test site whenever I get a chance. I tried two different event registration systems and liked neither so I decided to start over so I can go with another method. It is m...

Still being quite new to SCCA and OMR, could someone explain how a divisional works? Thanks! It's a two day event. Your time from both days will be added together to rank you within your class. Participation in a Divisional is mandatory if you want to go to Nationals (but it's a whole lot...

The May 24th event will be held at Duck's because the Acura Legend Club will be hosting their 2009 NALM event in Branson, MO. The July 11/12 Divisional will be held at Crowder. The rest of the seas...

2009 SOLO II Event Listing

I've updated our Autocross Calendar with 2009's Events with the information I've found so far.

If you guys find inaccuracies with other regions please let me know. As the OMR board develops our season of course we will update that as well.

Well... I'd say it's just about the same size as the Duck's lot if you count the lower part of the "L". The good news is it's been properly made for Semi Truck Traffic so it won't have holes and crumbled pavement all over the place which gives us far more flexibility with course designs. I layed out...
