I agree with Matt that a roll bar is a huge head injury risk in a street car. I also cringe when I see 4 and 5 point harnesses strapping upright drivers in cars without roll bars. If the roof comes down your body will not fold like it does with an OEM 3 point belt

We rented one several times for use at Ducks eventually determining that it made a lot of dust and wasn't that much more effective than a dozen people in shifts on 6 brooms. Good idea though and no rules issue.

The most likely cause of a steering wheel that does not automatically try to return to center is caster. Won't matter for SOLO safety but might make it very difficult to catch a slide and IMHO not safe on street

Come on by the meeting and say hi. I am sure you can collect a few opinions. I also doubt seriously that a little steering play on a car with good tie rods, ball joints, bushings etc is going to be a problem. Do read the post above though as we absolutely will not allow cars with broken wire wheel s...

What I figured Scott er Bullit. Just didn't want to chance disrespecting an OMR member, friend, or participant.

Would be so much easier if forum participants signed with who they actually are or even just filled their profiles out for that matter.

I really like the side by side. Very cool and educational.

I recently bought a GoPro2. Do you or anyone have a recommendation on video editing software?

This was discussed at the last board meeting. We are in process of getting more info, more input, and also determining if a software upgrade would be required to calculate

You young guys never cease to amaze me LOL. Slolam was before Gymkana which was before Autocross which became SOLO. Same thing except those Jag Slolamers probably say "GeeWhiz" to to express amazement at a good run.

Scott. Can't wait to see your new ride. And yes they would notice

If Ted is right and it won't work in the rain they could just get it approved for competition with NASCAR Those pretty boys just sit around in their trailers watching the fans get soaked. Then race after it drys out.

Very very cool (Nissan that is)
