WhyT, Glad you posted here because that will not work once you get to the event. If you will send me your real name, city, and member #if convenient, I should hopefully be able to look your membership up on line prior to the event. Can look Saturday with the info. OMR Volunteer Commitment-RE Note

Just a note to say thank you to a few volunteers who just may make 2009 the best OMR season ever. -Thank you to all those who attended the SOLO Commitee and Board meeting last Tuesday night. By far the largest meeting attendance and most enthusiastic volunteer group I have had privilege to witness s...

Good news. Was told today that the truck driving school and the Duck's stadium have worked out a way to do "extensive" repairs to the Duck's lot. Not sure how much better it might be, but better is better.

Shaping up for a great 09 season!

Then I'm guessing you can't just run one day then? Craig, You will be able to run just one day if you want. They are actually seperate events, Saturday and Sunday, that just happen to be back to back. A "Divisional" (OMR is Midwest Division) is actually part of a Division wide series of 2 day SOLO ...

So is it possible to assume that OMR is talking with Topeka about a Divisional or maybe even a NT at the new site especially with the loss of Lot L in KC? Yes Ed, We have a 2 day OMR sanctioned MiDiv Divisional scheduled ! Going to be a whole, whole lot of work putting it on. Worth it though as eve...

Craig, If you want an idea of what the Crowder lot looks like, imagine the ducks stadium and lot if the entire ballpark were also paved. Bobby, Board has to approve some things to make it final, but the Duck's events will still take place. Likely we will have 4 or 5 events at the Duck's Stadium. At ...

Problem always seems to be that other lots we might pursue, while in better condition are smaller than the Duck's stadium. So no larger course would be possible there than when working around the holes at the stadium We definately need another Springfield area lot option. I pursued the use of the Fa...

Think of it as a cross between a fun drive in the country and a riddle game. It's the SCCA activity you can enjoy with a close friend, spouse, older child, that might not be able to or desire to run SOLO.

Get together after the rally is good fun for family and friends as well.

Bud Weeks, making that drive when you cannot compete is duty above and beyond the call.

I think we should say thanks and make sure Bud doesn't buy his own lunch.

Didn't know 2 seaters couldn't be in ST. But no problems, change it around however you want, the kids were just there to have fun. My daughter Rebecca had only been driving for 4 weeks, so very proud of her 46, even if it was in a 40 car. Talked to Brad, manager of Duck's stadium. They are in the pr...

Hope this will post here, Having a hard time finding a thread I'm allowed to post in. (Ref Ted's Blat area of the forum for news of the accident) Just ran into Chris today at Yeng Ching eating lunch with a couple other OMR members. For a guy with more than half a dozen broken ribs and a crushed coll...
