Definitely street tires. This is not that important to use up an A6! Maybe I can recapture the drag race skills I used to have and get a hole shot. On the other hand, I guess I'll just show up and let the chips....and the rubber molecules....fall where they may.

When we did this two years ago, I was happy I finally had a car that would run in the 13s. I tried like hell in 1969 and never got there. Now I want to find out if the current Mustang has that same gumption. Don't forget Mark, Opie, Korry, etc. that I've only got a 4.6! (But more valves) Scott, can ...

Fun drags at MoKan Dragway

All autocrossers are invited to come out to MoKan Dragway on July 9 to see what your autocross car will do in the quarter mile. Opie V. is actually the person setting this up, but he is even more computer illiterate than me so I get the job to post all the important info. MoKan is near the Missouri/...

Hey Jim, Matt, Korry, and all the others who helped put the Midiv on, Well done, very well done! It was a great event, and how it all went off with hardly any perceivable hitches is amazing. The clocks worked all through the day on Saturday? Matt, you are a genius. Or maybe lucky but you still get t...

I just wish to echo what has already been said. It was a great learning experience. And it was fun. It helps that my final run was probably the best of the whole weekend. It wasn't timed, but it felt like I had applied at least some of what I was trying to learn and practice all weekend in each part...

A fender roller? This sounds serious. I think the NASCAR boys just use a jack handle. Quick and dirty!

Hey All, Been a busy week, with taxes, getting the car ready, and trips out of town, so I am just now catching up. Not that it matters now, but I thought I was signed up when in reality I wasn't. MototsportReg.com confused me, although I can get confused in other things just as well, but once Matt c...

Hey Jim,

I obviously need to attend. I might not spend the night down there on Friday, but will on Saturday, so sometime Saturday afternoon when runs are finished would be the best time for me. I would probably change plans, however, if another time would only work for others in the class.

Scott and Craig, thanks again.

Going to be an interesting season. Foley has a new car. Opie has a new engine. Korry has more power. Sam has a new car, as do I. A number of people are getting new tires. And that's only what I know about. I'm sure there will be some surprises.

Oops, thanks to you too, Scott. I appreciate the help.

Ten days to the first autocross of the season. Do I remember how to drive? Let's see....Hmmm. Uh, right pedal is go, center pedal is whoa, left pedal is....now where did I put my owner's manual?

Thanks, Craig. I've put it on Craig's List (different person, I'm sure) and on another free site. No luck so far. I'll probably have to put it on one or two of the several Mustangs for sale sites that charge $. Any ideas of sites that are best for Mustangs? Thanks, Matt. Computer interactions fill m...

Yeah Scott, I'd post the pics on the forum if I knew how. My ignorance is showing. I can e-mail them to that address with no problem. Or any normal e-mail address for that matter. How do I post them to this forum?

Fortunately, it was her Gremlin, actually then called a Spirit. I don't remember why we didn't take my Saab 99 EMS. Other than seats that felt like they were folding my back in half, I don't think it was too bad a trip in the AMC. This one had the VW 4 cylinder motor.

I hope somebody buys this car soon. I don't have the space or money for two Mustangs.
