Ozark Mountain Region SCCA

A friend of mine, Chris Wynn, is setting up a car show with only race cars being allowed to participate. He has included SCCA/Autox as well. He currently has 3 Factory Stock Dirt cars, 1 Dirt Modified and 2 Street Stock asphalt cars lined up with the possibility of a rock crawler and a drag car. And of course a crappy little Civic named Pepe' representing OMR.

It will be held July 2nd in the Biggs' Center by the Tel-a-Rent store from 12-2. There are supposed to be drinks and food. Possible coverage from the local newspaper. Entry fee is $5 per car. Spectators are to vote on which race car they like best and the one the highest number of votes takes home the pot of entry fees.

PS: Springfield Raceway held Specatator Drags last Saturday night. Unfortunately only two people signed up. (If we would have had 8 people we would have been running for $100 no entry fee)

I had a flashback to Walnut Ridge in 2007 and leaving the dinner behind Bob Heisler's hot rod Dakota. All I can say is Pepe' tried to run the V8 4x4 Dakota down. Next time Springfield host the Drags I will post it up here so we can have a full field.

Just a reminder that any SCCA racers (road, rally & autox) are invited to attend this competition only car show. Bring your numbers and class lettering to display your cars in race trim and any trophies you would like to display.

Show starts at 12. Chris will be at the lot at 1030 to setup and check people in.

This is Chris Wynn i am the one putting the car show together. I was just on the phone with the Marsfield Mail {local newspaper} ther are gonna come out and do a article for the paper. So it could be good advertising for your sponsers.
