Andrew Howe's How to Autocross is a good one to hook autocrossers. It has excellent photography by Bryan Heitkotter, who happens to be a multi-Solo National Champion and the GT Academy winner. Bryan also contributed to some e-books available on Amazon.
Dave Gran's Go Ahead: Take the Wheel is the one to put in the hands of an aspiring club-level road racer. I have a copy, and it puts a lot of what you need to know in one place.
