Kumho R-tires on closeout

Post by JimR » Sat Aug 25, 2007 9:40 pm

If anyone is needing R-comps or thinking of making the switch (James...hint, hint), Tire Rack has some on closeout:

Kumho V710 (good tire)

dang dude, are you shot peening me with this? ROTFLMAO! just kidding. those are some crazy good prices on the v700's and even the 710's. Im just not in the market(in other words I am broke.) right now. I wish. look for me to have R compounds in stock class in 2008. and beware MINI's!!

Close out? My 245/45/17's V710's are almost $50 more a piece than they were last year. Hoosier's went up in price too. I'm probably going to go with a 235/40/17 RA-1 as my next tire. 245/45/17 is a little too tall for my car anyway.

Chris, it maybe time to move to stu. Change the springs and get some camber plates. Most people that change to stu run times that are about the same (as compaired to the other drives they usually run with) but your pax factor goes down.

The kumo mx works in the class. I am putting everything but light weight seats in the car next week. I am building it out to run stu and bmw g class.

Still going to race the new 1 series next in D Stock, though. Me and Asher are going to campain one.

Also, $100 every set of wheels or tires ordered online at Discount Tire Direct through Saturday, October 20th.

I just got a set of 205/50-15's for street duty at $136 shipped. I was tempted to buy way, way more.
