KCRSCCA has LOST LOT L

Post by Import Specialist Racer » Tue Nov 25, 2008 12:22 pm

8) :( :( :( :( :x

Bad deal gang, I know OMR has had their Site issues and Now KC does as well..... We lost Lot L forever i would imagine. They are spending about $250K on sealing the lot and don't want us and wont talk to us....

Area's that have site issues are KC, Des Moines, Spfd.

So, we are looking for a site. and I'm pretty sure we wont have a National Tour either. :x

AND what we have a choice at will be small....

Lot L was one of the best sites around, and I'm glad I got to run Mister2 there a few times. Hopefully they can negotiate it out. The owner's excuses are all weaksauce.

Blytheville, AR, will have a ProSolo and Tour in 2009. Lincoln, NE has a Pro, as well as a slate of regional events, no doubt.

The Ducks site owner is quoting minor repairs. Cheap cut-and-fill patch work we bet, but better than nothing. Hopefully that goes through.

Hang tight, OMR is always exploring options. 2009 is light years away, and you never know what will happen by autocross season. 8)

I seriously hope it goes well for OMR and it becomes a decent location like it has been in the past.

Yea, Lincoln, I know there will be 5 or 6 two day events there.

Arrowhead isnt happining. They wont even talk to us at this point. for 250K to repave lot L thay are not going to chance it for the little 12K we give them each year.

So, Travel like you guys there in Rogers do is in my future in 09. OMR, Lincoln, HPT.

That's the plan. Ducks will be a part of the 2009 OMR Solo2 season. :)
