MiDiv #1 @ Heartland Park 4/30-5/1

Post by Kent » Mon Mar 21, 2016 8:02 pm

Looking to head up north and Autocross at HPT, any of you planning on making the trip?

Camping sounds like a go, either in the gate or outside. Big lot, and I'm sure will be an excellent course. BBQ too.

If anyone from OMR will be camping at HPT, we would like to leave the race cars on site instead of towing them to the hotel. If that is an option, let me know and we will come looking for you!

Tim Ritter is also planning on being there, he runs KC events and some OMR events. Black Galant I think is what he drives...

Per Al Hermans, part of the arrangement for being allowed to camp on site was paying a security guard to be there. The Solo area at HPT is only accessible by a tunnel under the road course (or crashing through a gate/fence/tire wall somewhere). I would rather leave a race car at HPT than in a hotel parking lot.

I'll be wearing my RX hat and helping with a RallyCross in Kansas this weekend. Good luck to the Soloists.

Thanks Kent, but after seeing Jim's post and seeing the site I was a lot less worried about it. :)

Not on the page, but under the Results/Points drop down menu, 2016, Series Points and Both Days Results.
