OMR Event Registration Information

Post by JimR » Fri Mar 05, 2010 2:19 pm

MotorsportReg.com is the Official Registration System of SCCA. Registration links to upcoming OMRSCCA events are posted on OMRSCCA.org and our Facebook feed.

MotorsportReg advantages
- By having a login, you keep your particulars saved in a profile. No need to retype for every event!
- An entry list showing who else is attending.
- Your online profile allows you to save multiple vehicles.
- MotorsportReg is already used by NEOkla, KCRSCCA, STLSCCA, and many other area regions. Easy registration for when their members visit our events and vice versa.

Why Pre-register?
- Reduces time waiting in registration line.
- Allows us to have a general head count for heat sizes, food, etc.
- Much less work for the volunteers helping with registration.
- Enables a $5 discount for SCCA members.

Solo Entry fees
The following entry fee structure applies to regional autocrosses at Crowder College in Neosho:
$25 - SCCA members pre-registered online
$35 - SCCA members walk-up registration on event day
$45 - "SCCA weekend membership" entrants pre-registered online
$55 - "SCCA weekend membership" walk-up registration on event day
(Events at Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in Springfield are an additional $5 to cover site costs.)

If you're not an annual member of the SCCA, we'll give you a SCCA weekend membership that you can credit towards an annual membership.

No matter what, remember to watch for event announcements on OMRSCCA.org and our Facebook page so that you can pre-register online. It's good for a $10 discount over walk-up registrations on competition day.

How do I sign up?
- If you do not have an account with MotorsportReg, go to [http://www.motorsportreg.com]. There is a link to create a login at the right side of the screen.
- We will post links to online registration for each event on omrscca.org and the OMR forums. Just click on that link, log in, and sign up. Easy.
- Pre-registration is available to SCCA annual members and weekend members alike.

Payments
We will still collect entry fees on site in the form of cash or check. You do not pay online, even if MotorsportReg presents you with that option.

Minors (Under Age 18)
To be in a "hot" area (competitor or not), both parents/legal guardians plus the under-18 individual must sign a minor waiver. Either a notary can register witnessing the signatures, or a SCCA event official at the event. Forms are available at events, or may be printed in color only beforehand.
- Notary minor waiver
- SCCA official minor waiver

Etc.
- After you register or make changes, it takes a minute for the entry list to update. Hang tight!
- IGNORE the "pay now to competely registration" messages. We asked if that could be removed, but it's a fixed part of MotorsportReg's template, even if we aren't accepting online payment (which would cost more).

Update 1/25/2011

As of 2011, MotorsportReg partnered with the national office to become the "Official Registration System of SCCA." Many SCCA outlets had already moved to MotorsportReg, and this cements it.

I highly recommend anyone participating in SCCA events at any level, from local autocrosses to national championships, create an account on MotorsportReg to ease registration for both yourself and our volunteers.
