I noticed the same thing. MotorsportReg was down for an hour or two, but is working now.

(I also noticed a quarter of our entry list waited until the last 48 hours to sign up. :P )

Mid-morning is when I need to call up the caterers and turn in the final count. If anyone can get signed up by that point, that's fine - we can ignore any penalty early Monday morning.

Pay online or mail a check. Your choice.

Is it possible for someone to just run one day at this event?

Only if they break their car (again) or leave their car hanging from some precipice overnight (again).

Simple and crude, but effective. The car too.

Mark, You don't have to run both days but unfortunately you have to pay for both and your points won't amount to much.

We shy away from running one day only to keep worker positions filled both days. If someone isn't there the other day, it may leave a gap in coverage.

I guess I should have been more specific. I'm planning on running both days unless Korry is somehow prophetic and putting a hex on me. However, my daughter and some other people asked me if they could run just one day. From the responses, apparently you pay the full amount, now with a late fee, and then skip a day due to unforseen circumstances.

thanks sayre

Sayre, we are all in. The event will be held rain or shine.

Both days look to be cool in the morning, warming to the high 60s or low 70s. Forecasts show a chance of rain, but it looks like the scattered Springtime variety rather than a driving rain. I recommend everyone comes prepared for a variety of conditions, and bring the sunscreen, poncho, jacket, etc.

Since the Crowder pad is designed to be sprayed with water and reclaimed in a holding pond, drainage is decent and pooling wasn't a big problem at the Evo school. If we happen to get a brief shower, it will not dampen the fun.

We'll see everyone tomorrow evening around 5 PM until around dark. Feel free to come hungry. We will have chips and sub trays again during registration on Friday evening, and we'll have the Saturday evening banquet, of course. The Trucking School staff will be selling burgers and concessions for lunch each day, so pocket a little cash before you hit the road and we'll do our best to prevent starvation.

If you have access to a printer, print off a copy of the Crowder site waiver and have it filled out if you want to save a little time.

Also, Ozarkians, if you can get away early and be there in the 4-5 PM range, we would love to have an extra volunteer or two in our tech/registration area. All you need is a smile and to point our out-of-towners to registration and the autocross area.

See everyone soon!
