TireRack Midwest Division Solo Series Event #1
Presented by R&S Racing and Solo Performance Specialties
April 24-25, 2010
Crowder College Trucking School
Neosho, Missouri

Ozark Mountain Region SCCA once again invites everyone to Crowder College Truck Driving School in Neosho, Missouri, for the opening round of the 2010 TireRack Midwest Division Solo Series presented by R&S Racing and Solo Performance Specialties, with special thanks to Reliable Imports & RV and Crowder College Truck Driving School.

Come enjoy Springtime weather and 375,000 square feet of grippy, tire-friendly, and unobstructed asphalt. Just south of Joplin, it is centrally located to the Midwest division, and is an easy four-lane haul from most locations via I-44 and US 71. The 2009 Neosho event was runner-up in the SCCA Division of the Year, and we hope to have as much fun this year!

Never been to a divisional-level autocross? If you're an SCCA member, this is your chance to compete against some of the best drivers from the Midwest by combining the best times from two days of competition. This will also be a points-paying event for OMRSCCA members. Loaner helmets will be available.

We are asking for pre-payment, and have given a couple of options to make it easy. You can either pay with a credit card using the link from MotorsportReg.com or if you are paying by check, please make your check payable to "OMRSCCA" and mail to the MiDiv Registrar:

Thank you all for helping us out with this.

Hey guys, just a thought, I will probably have a tent camper down there, so if someone doesn't want to pay for a hotel room, I'll have an extra bed plus the fold down table. The beds are double and queen size, so I could have up to about 3 people. I won't have a ton of bedding, so bring a sleeping bag. First who wants it gets it so let me know.

Late fees begin in under one week! Sign up by 11:59 PM on Sunday, April 18th to avoid a $15 late charge. We have to give the banquet caterers a headcount on April 19th.

FWIW, the gates to the skidpad will be locked at night, so no one can stay within the fenced area overnight. However, there is plenty of lot space nearby to park a camper or RV. Some KC guys stayed in a RV in the lot next to the classroom building where we did tech/registration last year's divisional.

Everyone, I'm looking for one more volunteer for our event chief roles. Sam will not be able to make it, so I'm looking for a second tech person to be present Friday during registration and early Saturday morning. This would be your work assignment for the weekend. Edit: thanks Jason.

Thanks to everyone who stepped up!
