Last year it was a QUEST. Apparently this year Sara and Justin have made it a MISSION ! Anyway, Joanne and Curtis are always up for a pretty drive, good food, and time with friends so we'll be there.

Please try to attend, and be sure to thank the Huffmans as they have put a lot of effort into hosting this for us.

Can I get some more details on this? It is sounding like a TSD event to me. Am I correct?

Not a TSD. Not even a sanctioned rally.
Usually Just a pretty drive, some trivia,
and a social. Last year we tried to figure how
many years this has been going on, 20? 30?
Nobody can remember but always a good time.

So just a good drive and good friends? I may be up for that. I would like to meet some of you guys so I'll know what I'm getting myself into once my car is ready :)

'02 WRX Wagon that I'm wanting to get set up for rallycross, but will be making it out for a few tarmac events as well.

This post caught my interest when I though it was a TSD b/c I've been trying to drag my dad out to navigate for me for a TSD.

My dad loved time speed distance rallies
One of the few things we did not have in common LOL.

Never volunteer for a math test. That's my rule.

Totally agree with that. I'm wanting to get involved though b/c my dad is a huge race fan, but also a bit of a safety ad "what if" guy. He doesn't even understand the risk of using a daily for autox. So yeah, he got pretty excited at the thought of running a "rally" with me that is based on something other than pushing the car to the limit.

I just think it will be great father son time, and an excuse for a great drive.

Tombstone Mission

Post by SARIE » Tue Oct 19, 2010 12:01 pm

Please make sure to send me a message if you're attending the Mission for the Tombstone if you haven't done so yet. I want to make sure I have plenty of BBQ & Mission directions! I've had a pretty good response so far. Also, H20 & soft drinks will be provided at the BBQ, but if you have a thirst for a cold beer, BYOB! :D Can't wait to see everyone, this will be a nice way to wrap up the season!
