The OMR will be hosting a viewing of the award winning independent film, Senna, on Saturday October 15th, mid-day (the exact time will be set early next week when the theater does their scheduling). If you have not heard about this film it is a documentary about the life and untimely death of 3 time F1 champion Ayrton Senna. It is a documentary that uses vintage home videos, racing footage, newscasts and press releases to tell the story. Trailer is here
The film will be shown at the Moxie Cinema in downtown Springfield. Directions and parking information can be found here.
Admission is free for all OMR SCCA members (plus one guest), and we are accepting donations for the Community Foundation of the Ozarks' Joplin Recovery Fund.
Looking forward to seeing you there.

::::Update::::
Time: Meet at the Moxie at 4:20 p.m. the movie starts at 4:45
Directions and Map: Click here for map and parking directions
Unfortunately, the Moxie had a scheduling conflict that we found out about after making the first post, so we will not have a private showing like we originally thought. We have bought out a block of tickets and will be doing this during their normally scheduled afternoon matinee.
Looking forward to seeing you there.

I'll echo Curtis here; Great Movie! Brought back a few memories of the early '80s. Jeanie and I had a fun time - I'm glad we went.
Thanks to all that came out - seeing it with a few-dozen friends certainly made this more interesting.
G'nite all, hope everybody made it home safe N sound!
