I spent like 2 hours yesterday trying to get registered on MSR and I couldnt get it to work.
Was able to get signed up for KCR events, but not OMR events.
Not sure what the problem was, could have been an issue with MotorsportReg, though I see several others registered yesterday? I just added you but I'm not sure if Justin has "built" the event yet.
Justin Huffman is our SOLO chair this year and will be just as likely to be the one setting up Registration and such. If you have any problems in the future feel free to contact any of us.

Jeremy, just let whoever is at registration know and we'll make sure you get the online pre-registration rate if you're a SCCA annual member.

Hey everybody, what a GREAT Event, am I right?
A big Thank You to everyone for coming out - competitor and spectator alike. Double-Thanks to the Crowder TDTS crew for providing lunch, to everyone that showed early for setup, with Special Thanks to Tim Datema, Sarie and Justin Huffman (in his first event serving as SOLO Chair!), and to Jim Rowland - lending his expertise making these things run smoothly to help flatten-out some of the "bumps". Thank You All!
Remarkable turnout for our season-opener - what did everyone think of the new lot? I felt it was quite grippy for one-season asphalt, and was actually much happier with the size of the lot than I feared. We have been spoiled, over the last few seasons. I am grateful to Crowder for their continued solicitation of OMR, and their efforts to retain us as "customers". I still hope to see our "old" lot next season. I liked being "spoiled"....

I was very impressed with the course, I thought it was going to be really tight and not very fun, but Bud did a really great job utilising the space we had available.
Great to see everyone!
Hopefully by the June event I'll have my LSD in and no fuel starvation while pulling Gs

That Was A Blast! I almost forgot how much fun this is and I can't wait for the next event. Thanks to everyone for all the help. Are members all make these events go smooth and thats why I love our club. Does it get any better than hanging out with friends and driving cars as fast as you can?....nope. I was like you Mat, I thought the lot was going to be to small, tight and slow but it wasn't. Thanks again for everyones help and I'll see you Easter Sunday at Ducks.
We'll have results up with-in a day or two.

Not really what I would consider "highlights" but here is a bit of video....

As I mention in the video comments..... yes, the car sucks to drive.
I'm sure it could be fixed fairly easily but this is the wife's daily driver. I already have one big tired, modded money pit. Don't need another.
Then again, the entire day (travel AND racing) only consumed 3.7 gallons of fuel. Coming from an ESP Camaro and 2500HD tow vehicle perspective, that's quite a change.

We had posted those last night but noticed a classing error after the fact. I meant to take them down but forgot. We will post the results once corrected and make a note here on the forums. Thank you for the patience.

Hey Y'all,
Just want to thank all the hard workers that made this event really great. Justin and Sara, JIm, Scott and Jeanie, Stan, Tim and everyone else who helped out during the day. And to the people who gave me feedback on the course to get it right. Great jobs announcing by Jim and Mark. Also to everyone who did not crash or roll over a corner worker....that especially made my day.
Korry, your video clip that has the camera on your helmet made me a bit seasick. It is amazing how the g-forces affect your head that you don't notice while driving.
Jim has a course plan for the next time we run at this lot and I expect if will be as good.

This was my first event and I truly had a blast.
Thanks to all who make this possible. Can't wait til I can attend again. Will for sure be at every Ducks event. That parking lot is about a 1/2 mile from my work.

Oh it didn't look that bad, its probably just a good street tire away from being fun.

There's some fun stock class potential there to be sure Bobby.
The biggest problem is that the damn thing is just so hopelessly biased toward understeer in stock form.
I had the rear tires
+20 psi in comparison to the fronts in an effort to loosen it up. A "proper" alignment would help a ton. Probably a front bar too.
A set of Konis would be next. The car flops all over the place. This seems to make it hypersensitive to fore / aft load transfer... thereby exacerbating that understeer thing. Every time I was under power it felt like I was pulling the front tires off the ground.
ST would let someone fix other shortcomings and given the price of parts and tires for this car as well as the aforementioned fuel consumption, it isn't hard to see why STR has exploded as a class.
All that said.... I missed fighting it out in ESP yesterday. A lot.
