I'm tardy in posting congratulations to Sam. Although I'm not a road racer, I follow the results every year in selected classes, and it has become obvious how difficult it is to finish at a high level at the runoffs. There are so many things that can happen, so many variables, that Sam's runner-up finish speaks volumes about his determination, dedication, and ability. The same is true for ace mechanic Matt Longpine.
So, Sam, congratulations on your performance at the runoffs, and I look forward to your continuing success.
