2 Hallett Spring Days!!! April 1, May 27

Post by RacinAlt » Thu Jan 08, 2015 11:45 am

Christmas is over so that means its time to start thinking about track days!!! Due to the demand last year, we are going to try to have 2 track days this Spring, you are welcome to sign up for one or both! I know I am going to do both!

One thing to note before you sign up, Hallett this year has raised their daily rates (probably to pay for that new pavement), so I have to spread the cost, it went up $20 per person, so the total is now $180 per track day.

When emailing me back tell me which day(s) you intend on attending. Spring Dates will be April 1st and May 27th. Both are Wednesdays.

As always feel free to forward this to any of your friends.

Right now I need $180 through PayPal (as a GIFT so you don't get a service charge) to bobby@bobbyjasan.com or a check to Bobby Jasan, 13980 Spring Road, Bentonville, AR 72712, or pay me in person for those of you that see me a lot, if you send a check please at least email me back and let me know. It is first come first serve, because you have participated in the past I am sending this group their invite first.

At this point it is non-refundable.

The plan as 20 cars, 4 groups of 5. (But can flex between 20-30 (5-6 groups) as we have done in the past based on interest.)

Notice: There is no ambulance on stand by or wrecker at this cost. Need about another $800+ for that. So you might get a helicopter ride to Tulsa if you hurt yourself, and if you wreck then you get my Truck and the tow strap to pull you out, which will probably mess your car up more than the wreck.

Lunch is provided at $10 a piece they will cater lunch in the tower at the track, you are expected to eat their yummy food by being there, its actually not bad, will make sure they keep making burgers instead of the cold cuts.

What you need to bring (for those that have never done it)
Need a DOT approved helmet
ON TRACK need to wear at least Jeans and something long sleeved
They will turn on the timing equipment and transponders are $20 at the track each to rent.
Make sure you have good tires and brakes, also consider flushing your brake fluid with high temp stuff (ex:ATE Super Blue)
There is fuel at the track but it is expensive. Anything with a turbocharger seems very thirsty at Hallett. There is a fuel station a few miles away if you need to leave to get some.

Schedule
Gates open at 7
Drivers meeting at 7:30
First car out at 8
Lunch 12-1
We have the track until 6

We have free reign of the track so we can do what ever we want with the paddock and parking/carports.
