2016 OMR SCCA Solo #1 "March Madness"

Post by flogger » Wed Mar 09, 2016 10:01 pm

2016 Season opener autocross preregistration is open. Find the link on our homepage http://www.omrscca.org .

Please preregister. Last year this event set an all time record for number of attendees for this region, and the early headcount shows we're on track for a similar experience this year. Preregistering gives us a better chance to start on time and makes the day more enjoyable for everyone. Thanks.

Scott, do you know if Crowder Trucking School is proving lunch this time?

Nope. No lunch service. I've tried to encourage them to do so, but it's not happening. It's a shame, too. We've got hungry stomachs, they've got a program that could use our money...

I have 2015 end of solo season plaques which were not picked up at the banquet for the following people loaded into the T&S trailer. They can be picked up at Sunday's autocross and crossed off the list. Thanks, and congrats to all recipients.

Also, there are new regional t-shirts which will be for sale for $15 at Sunday's autocross. Special thanks to the Huffmans for the legwork, planning, and just plain getting this done. Pictures can be found on the OMR SCCA Facebook page.

Wow! It looks like there is a changing of the guard in OMR autocross. Kent Willer 1st in PAX with Don Wilson and Scott Woosley close behind. Way to go guys! You all deserve it because you've been working on your autocrossing for awhile.
I am so sorry that I couldn't be there but I didn't feel good about leaving my under-the-weather wife for the whole day. I hope to see everyone at the next event in April.

Thanks Bud! We missed you out there, it was a great Sam Henry course. You can guess that I liked it.

Cold temps for the day, heat one was COLD. Heat two was cold and WINDY.
