Running the comptuer

Post by Crazy_Dog » Fri Mar 14, 2008 6:58 am

Just a idea this morning.

if anyone wants to play with the autocross software in the comfort of your own home you can download a demo version of it.

https://axwaresystems.com/axwaredemoall.zip

This includes some sample data as well.

the install process is fairly simple.

I always like to play with software, I learn it much better on a testbed than in a event setting.
There's no place like 127.0.0.1

I'm going to download the software tomorrow and play around with the interface. I'm pretty good with software, I have three computers; 2 notebook PC's running XP, and linux distro (ubuntu) I use in a mid-tower I built as my webhosting server for my buddy's hot tub company in texas.

It would be helpful if I could spend about 30 minutes with you at one point to learn specific features/procedures however. Just whenever you have time.

P.S. Can I just subtract my "flower" purchase amount from my next Autox race day fee?? :) :) The receipt is in the cash register with my name on it.

CivicSiGuy:

If you are going to play around with the software TOMORROW AT WORK, I'll be forced to report you to your boss in Belgium.

Actually the 2nd purpose of the software download was to test performance and compatibility of our work issued notebook computers.

What if I find out it doesn't run properly? I'll have to ask them for a more powerful, up-to-date notebook!

I'm always thinking of the company first...you know me!
