Vette club / Neosho site input needed!

Post by JimR » Mon Mar 31, 2008 9:16 am

We're in the very early stages of attempting to get an autocross site at Crowder trucking school in Neosho, and I understand the Four States Vette Club may be working on the same thing in parallel, and may have contacted the school recently.

A member of the SCCA from NW Arkansas had a lengthy discussion with their site manager a while back, and was able to get him to agree to a meeting at some point in the future. OMRSCCA is going to pick up the issue, and tomorrow at the monthly meeting the board of directors is going to discuss approaching the Crowder trucking pad site manager.

I want to make sure we are all on the same page, and talking towards a coordinated message for the benefit of all. The SCCA site acqusition materials, liability insurance, etc., will likely be a boon to helping build the trust factor with Crowder.

Could someone from the Vette set touch base with us? Has Phil Rankin talked to the Crowder people?

I've been sick as a dog for the last few days, and don't imagine anyone at the board meeting will want me to share this wonderful strain of the common cold. If I can help talk up this site issue, give me a call or send me an e-mail or PM. I'll most likely be loafing around home tonight.

Has anyone talked to Crowder yet, or talked about talking to Crowder?

(*puts on a mustache and dark glasses)

that feller went that away!

I think Curtis may have had some sort of communication with them, seems like I seen a message cross my desk about it?

I failed miserably with mine :(
