If it looks like we have enough regulars on hand for the meeting, I might duck out of being there in person. Even the miserly G20 consumes about $20-25 in 87 swill going to Springfield at current prices. If anyone in the Solo group doesn't have my cel number, PM me and feel free to call.

If we have no volunteers for course, I will do that. That would give me a free heat to be a SSS trainee. (Note to self: remember to bring form!)

My usual input is to make sure we have the minimum people pinned down for the essential jobs:
- Gate
- (2) Registration
- (2) SSS
- Someone who can tow trailer to and from site
- Course setup (you can pencil me in)

Plus other "stuff:"
- Will bathrooms will be open by now, or is a porta-potty necessary?
- Flour and bottled water, if needed
- Trash can(s)
- Trash bags. I work for Glad, and can donate some 30 gal (standard medium black trash bag size) if we have/buy cans that they will fit.
- Stress registration closes 30 minutes earlier on web site.

Okay, good deal. I heard Bud was wanting to work a course, but didn't know for sure.

I can help in the trailer/registration, and help with site/course setup before and after that.

Course set-up

Post by budweeks » Sat May 10, 2008 10:43 am

Hey Guys,

Actually, it is me and Mark R. (black Corvette roadster) who are setting up the course. Are we still at Ducks for next week at this point? And who should I talk to about the trailer so we can rendezvous and start work on the course at an early hour?

Trailer will be there at 7 AM as always. If you'd like it sooner give Curtis a call since he usually brings it to the site. And yes we will be at Duck's again.

Just as an FYI, we'd like to get the start and shut-down made up as early as possible so that we can concetrate on getting our pesky timing lights tried and tested much sooner.

Thanks Matt. 7:00 AM is great. We'll do our best to set up start and finish early.

Everything squared away? Are the park bathrooms going to be open?

I will be there early to help. I also plan on remembering my SSS trainee form so that I can do that one heat.

Bud, I have a Ducks satellite image on my computer with a few of the major rough spots sketched out if you want it.
