Did you know Crowder College has a...............

Post by Curtis » Mon Mar 23, 2009 8:11 am

I recently learned that the Crowder Truck driving School has a Teen Car Control and Defensive Driving school in addition to the truck driver training. It's a half to one day program for young drivers funded in part by a state grant. Available to anyone, but free for drivers in a certain age group (guessing 16-20?)

I can't find anything on their website, but you can call over and ask for information.

Thanks for the info. I just happen to have a son turning 17 in a few days. I will certainly be looking into this.

I just spoke with Paula at Crowder and they have a Teen Car Control and Defensive Driving school coming up on April 25th.

She also mentioned that there were still some open spots in the afternoon class and if anyone was interested to call her at 800-541-2891 so they can get you signed up.

We have cones in the parking lot at work to help guide traffic. And I just couldn't resist myself monday to just run them all over.
