AutoCross Points Event #2, Price Cutter Park, Ozark!

Apologies to anyone who showed up today for our cancelled event.

While we do run rain or shine, there are a minimum number of people required to hold an event. This has nothing to do with cost. Rather there are a certain number of required corner stations that have to be manned with 2 people each, a grid worker, two safety stewards, timing and scoring ect.

Without 20-25 people minimum we cannot hold a SOLO event. At 9:00am we still had less than 1/2 what we needed, and so the decision was made not to set up the course.

The Neokla event was canceled today as well, due to not enough people.

Rain or shine I don't this Easter is probably the best day to have an event...........

I had the same concern, but..........it's worked lot's of times before on Easter, and........we had as many or more pre-registered as for any other event. For these reasons I have to assume it was the rain.

Jeanie and I were a bit disappointed after driving up from Jane, but no matter - we hung out a bit in Springfield, then went to see a few old friends on the way back through Aurora, and then my ailing Uncle in Monett - just now made it home.

Well, nothin' doin' but to try Blythesville - I've been considering running all the Divisionals, just for the halibut..........

Hope to see some of you there.

Wow you guys live in Jane, I didn't know anyone actaully lived there......I thought it was just a Wal-Mart and Liquor store.

That's a Wal-Mart and THREE Liquor stores in-addition to a Big Three Autoplex, thankyouverramuch............

(heck, there's even a crappy McDonalds next to the Wal-Mart, but I wouldn't eat there, were I you............)
