240sx V8 ... complete loss on classing

Post by g3joshua » Sun Feb 17, 2013 10:54 pm

A friend of mine is looking to start racing this year. But, we went through the rule book a couple of times and still at a loss on which class.

It's a 1990 240sx Hatchback with a 331 SBC with a dry sump system. It has some other stuff done to it, but I doubt things like suspension will effect the classing since the dry sump and engine has me a little lost.

It could be SM? I'm not sure either...

If you swap an engine in from a different manufacture, it's XP.

SM is for modified OEM engines, or engines from the same manufacturer.

Thank you very much. That's at least 1 thing I can check off the "to do" list before march, now to try to check off more...
