Stud conversion for a bolt, hub-centric vehicle

I've been debating if it's worth the potential issue to convert my GTI to stud.

Firstly, yes I do remove my wheels more often than just Autocross events. I inspect my front and rear suspension and breaks at least twice a month outside of events.

I'd probably buy the "hardened" racing studs (hoping they are closer to grade 8) with a set of conical nuts for my Autocross wheels and a set of ball seat for my OEM set.

Thoughts? SCCA SoloII rules? I couldn't find any but I know some regions frown on them due to the risks...
