I'm in need of a good family car, so unfortunately the Capri needs to go.
1985 Mercury Capri 5.0 (RS?), odometer reads 08xxx, I'd say by the shape of the car it's 108k, automatic shifts nicely, power windows, COLD A/C (previous owner had it converted to R134), decent interior, '87-'93 V8 brakes and 8.8" rearend w/3.73s, CFI injection seems to work fine, averages 16.5 MPG in mixed driving on the 5 tanks I've checked, body is fairly straight, 10 holes have correct cat head center cap. The bad? It does have some rust, none that I can see in the floorboards, but a little in the normal Fox spots. Paint is in poor condition and needs redone. It'll shine up with a little buffing, but overall it's showing it's age. I do have another right fender to replace the one with the rust hole.
I'm looking to get what I have in it out of it, $2,200, I'm fairly firmish. For an extra $400 I can include a set of ROH ZS that are 17x8.5" and 17x9.5", without tires (photo at bottom of photos).

They're lighter than the Fox Mustang in the front (aluminium bumper parts) - but heavier in back due to the "bubble hatch".springfielddyno wrote:could be a rally x car!
