1992 Porsche 968

1992 Porsche 968, Original Porsche Amazon Green (blue)/tan leather. 3.0L -6 speed, factory optional 17" wheels, 135,000 miles-Very Good to Excellent condition inside, out, and underneath. Collector/enthusiast conditon. Not your average 968.

This is basically a 944 that came stock with all the stuff those guys work so hard to add ie. 6 speed, 3L instead of 2.5, 17" instead of 15 or 16" wheels, body kit, ect. Car is stock. And I always found it amusing that enthusiast work so hard, and spend so much more, in building what Porsche built for them in the 968, from a 944.

This was my son's car for the last 3-1/2 years. Some of you may have seen it at one of our events. Was a very nice car before we had TopCraft do a high quality repaint about 5,000 miles ago. Interior very nice. Transaxle quiet, synchros excellent, 0 smoke and no oil between changes. AC cold, New tires ordered and should be here next week.

Recent timing belt, tensioners, water pump, belts, hoses, and new Brembo rotors all the way around.

We made one run on Sam's "Springfield Dyno" using base 87 Octane and this car, which is stock, made over 200hp at the wheels.

NADA value is $10,400 - Would like to get $9400 for this car.

If you know anyone who might be interested, please have them contact me.

PS. Shelby has been worried about keeping the car in this condition at College. He has purchased a Volvo S60R to replace it. Dad task with finding a new home for this car.

this seems like a good deal to me... and someone will be very happy with this car!

I'm a big fan of the 944 and 968's...
