Sunday
Hey guys I work at Reliable Imports and wanted to come out this weekend to watch. I am going to bring out some soda and water for you guys and some eye candy (a couple cars). I tried PMing one of the moderators yesterday to see if it was ok but Im sure he is busy. Can anyone let me know where to park this weekend and what time to show up.

We've never had a problem in the past, and in fact, Reliable has been pretty good to us.
Since registration closes at 10AM, most of the throng will be on site by then. We'll have a lunch break very early in the afternoon between heats, and hopefully have the site packed up by 4PM.
Parking is first come, first serve, and is a little tight on days with big turnouts. Reliable has often set up in the small grassy area to the right of the ball park entrance. As long as you are not in a "hot" area such as grid or the start/finish areas, you should be fine.

Only a handful of bleary-eyed, dedicated volunteers will be around at 7AM. People will probably not start showing up in any numbers until around 8:30AM. We will close registration at 10AM, maybe have the driver's meeting going by 10:30AM, and hopefully have cars on course by 11AM. A lunch break will happen sometime early it the afternoon, and timing will depend on how quickly the first heat goes.
If nice weather holds, I suspect we can pull 60-70 competitors. That has been a decent turnout at our better-attended events over the last few years. If it helps get the support of the boss, this Sunday will probably net the most foot traffic of our season. The moderate temperatures will attract more family, friends, fair-weather drivers, and curious passers-by than when it gets hotter during our late July and August events.

I need that, the Subaru ate another front wheel bearing....BIG_C wrote:I will be bringing a $100 gift certificate to give away this weekend towards parts from our performance parts dept. I look forward to meeting everyone.
So FRANK (Gray RX-7 with wrong motor) will be there in its place. It's about as easy to miss at the Subaru.
Chad will some of your other co-workers be in attendace? I met Derick and some of the other guys last time and gave them rides in the Subaru.
Hope we have fun runs........I am ready to kill at set of tires, and I think I promised Foley a drive in it too.

You need to find room on that list sometime for another black ESP car driving guy. No, not Opie.RacinAlt wrote:I think I promised Foley a drive in it too.
Actually, I'd be happy just to have a ride along. I still haven't gotten to see this thing yet.

Korry you should have just been there the first time we took it out to Tulsa, we whored the car out, I think it was the longest fun run on record.......something like 20 runs, after the event was over.Ironhead wrote:You need to find room on that list sometime for another black ESP car driving guy.
