I'm showing up around 4:30-4:45 with Korry.

I would be willing to help if needed after that. Also, I hear Zach is helping Jim with course setup.

I'm looking for someone that is going from Springfield area to Neosho on Friday that can haul a set of 4 big tires for Opie. I can deliver to whoever is going. Let me know. I wonder who is hauling the SCCA trailer?

The trailer is at Bobby's place. Jim is ferrying it to the site this morning.

And Opie doesn't need any more big tires. He's had plenty of those. He needs some little tires instead. :P

Simple and crude, but effective. The car too.

Don't worry, I put Armor-All all over the tread. They look real good.

I had a great time this weekend and learned a few things about adjusting my setup. Thanks to everyone who gave me a hand with my issues and to everyone who made this great event possible!

There's just no pleasing some people.

People asked for "dry" - I filed the ubiquitous form DWR0514-15/OMR~2011 "Dry Weather Request" (IN Triplicate, I might add!) - and per the agreed-upon specification; we received "Dry Weather".

Nobody said ANYthing about "Warm". THAT would have required the additional filing of form WrWR0514-15/OMR~2011.70F "Warm Weather Request" - which must be submitted at least 6-months in advance, and include a Notarized Affadavit of Eligibility; a brief Synopsis of everything expected to take place at the event (including any planned mechanical failures); AND a note from your Mother.

In Triplicate. (of course)

Do you have any idea HOW many times a person has to sign their name and initial the paragraphs on a 2954-page document?

I'LL TAKE THAT AS A "NO".......

I just pointed out that one little thing was left out of the grand plan and you give me the old " paperwork" excuse? :P :D

THANK YOU to everyone who helped. We rolled another snake eyes on the weather, but everything else was right on. I heard plenty of positive feedback from competitors, and it's because you stepped up and made it happen.

We can consult the OMRSCCA hall of records, but I have to believe this is the biggest event this region has ever organized (and it went great).

Good racing with everyone again. Looks like I'll need a new set of rears for the Daily

I've got a few pictures from parc expose' of heat 3 if anyone is interested.

Hey Justin, at least your new car looks really good!!

Matt, I would agree with that!

It turns out the issue with my throttle delay after hard breaking and aggressive turning is the ESC "electronic stability control". There is this thing called a manual that is typically found in the glove box of a car. It has all kinds of helpful info. One bit of info in particular was that simply turning off the traction control does not turn off the ESC. I need to compress the brake and hold the TCS button for 5 seconds to turn all safety devices off. Wish I would have read that yesterday morning.

Justin, I'm very impressed with you and Sara's job in the "near stock" 5.0. Would love to see that car prepped to ESP trim and see how it does ;) I love the new 5.0s and really watching Terry Fair's STX build.
Miatas. Lots of them. Nearly every flavor. Lots of mods to some. Not much to others.
