Minutes of the Ozark Mountain Region SCCA BOD 915/09 Members present: RE Curtis Wood, Jeff Moore, Sam Henry, Matt Gilson, Jim Rowland, Bud Weeks, and autocross committee representative Matt Longpine. Secretary's report: motion by Jeff to waive reading of the Sept. minutes, second by Jim. Passed. Treasurer's report: Sam reports approx. $XXXX in account. Motion by Jeff to accept, second by Jim. Passed. Solo II report: OMR will have an autocross on Sept. 27 at Crowder College in Neosho. They will set up on Saturday. Pre-registration is on the website. There will be three heats. Concessions will be by Crowder College. Porta-potty will be rented. A few supplies still need to be ordered from SCCA. Other supplies will be checked and purchased as needed. Discussion of the Ducks lot. It is getting worse even after being fixed recently. A new site may well be required in the near future. Discussion of the display board. The contact person is difficult to get in touch with but efforts will continue to find out about the progress of repair. Report on planning for autocross at Pittsburg State on Oct. 18. All planning has been favorably received at Pitt State although no official "go ahead" has been given. Sanction request must be submitted during the week of Sept. 21. Entries will be limited to 75 or 80, with allowance made for Kansas Region members who want to enter at last minute. Bud Weeks will be event chairman and will notify BOD as soon as permission is given by Pitt State. Matt L. will add event to website also as soon as permission is given. Motion by Jeff to establish $150 petty cash fund for Pitt State autocross, second by Curtis. Passed. Discussion of autocross sound system and the need for new speakers. Motion by Curtis to approve cost of two new speakers, second by Jim. Passed. Matt L. will get speakers. Discussion of the possibility of using the lot at Reliable Auto on 65. That will be explored. Motion by Jeff to present plaque of appreciation with pizza to the management and staff of Reliable Imports, second by Matt G. Passed. Discussion of Joomla on website. It may be better in the long run to take it back where it was. Matt L. can work on it. Discussion of Tombstone Trophy Competition, an annual OMR event. It is planned for Nov. 7 with the bonfire to be at Curtis Wood's home. There will be a donation for food. The British Car Owners Club may also come. Registration will be at 2:00PM with start at 2:30.
