Minutes of the Ozark Mountain Region SCCA BOD meeting, 4/6/10.  Members present: RE Curtis Wood, Sam Henry, Matt Longpine, Bud Weeks, Jim Rowland, Jeff Moore, Sara Huffman, and six other OMR members.
 
Call to order by Curtis.
 
Motion to publish last month's minutes on the website by Jeff, second by Sam.  Passed.
 
Discussion on the possibility of hosting another Evo School next year, possibly adding a Challenge phase.
 
Discussion of whether to keep the web domain name omrsolo2.org.  Matt will check with Matt Gilson regarding implications.
 
Discussion of doing two plaques for Reliable Imports.  Concensus that two plaques is appropriate.
 
Discussion of Midiv plans and chiefs for each area.  Jim Rowland is event chairman, and he has offered right of first refusal to each of last year's chiefs.  The chiefs for this year's event:

Discussion of sponsors and prizes.  Reliable will contribute $250 plus a $500 prize.  Other sponsors still needed.  There has been no response from the Neosho C of C.
 
Discussion of banquet at Midiv.  Headcount is needed by April 19 and it was decided that the late fee would apply after 11:59 PM on April 18.  Fees to be paid in advance unless arrangement made with an event official.
 
Lori Gill will do the Solo Safety School at the Midiv in a classroom at Crowder College to be held 90 minutes before the banquet.
Motion to pay for Lori Gill's banquet by Curtis, second by Jeff.  Passed.
 
Discussion of need to have two working timing systems for the Midiv, and the need for protection for the timing heads.  Discussion of whether the old and new system's software are compatible.  Discussion of importance of redundancy.  Matt will check out both systems.
 
Discussion of lots for solo program.  Ducks lot is in increasingly poor condition.  It is recommended that no more events be held at the Ducks lot this year.  Crowder is available for all other OMR dates this year.
 
Discussion of all other possible lots that have been spotted.  Stan to check on two possible lots and Justin to check on one.
 
OMR's charter is now up to date.
 
Discussion of possibility of hosting a Rallycross.  Curtis to check out possible site.
