Call to order by Curtis. Motion by Jeff to accept April minutes as e-mailed, second by Jim. Passed. Motion by Jeff for whoever brings the trailer to events to be reimbursed for fuel expenses by the event chairman out of event proceeds, and for that to serve as that person's work assignment, second by Curtis. Passed. Discussion of supplies for the May 16 event. Wrist bands and waivers need to be ordered. New timing system equipment was not talking to the software due to a jack problem. Provider will send a new box, cables, and an antenna. We also have two new lasers. Discussion of the need for cross training on autocross timing system and the website so that if Matt is not available, someone else can substitute. Discussion of Pitt State event planning. Motion by Jeff to choose Oct. 24, Fall break weekend, for Pitt State autocross, second by Curtis. Passed. Discussion of autocross trailer floor, in which the plywood is degrading. Idea advanced that the floor could be replaced with aluminum treadplate. Jeff will contact the builder for an estimate. Would most likely be done this winter. Discussion of alternate autocross sites. CTI in Sprinfield probably will not work. There is a possible lot in Lebanon, MO. Other possible sites are the Palace Theatre in Branson and AMPAC in Springfield. Stan will check AMPAC site. Discussion possible rallycross sites. Curtis will check on a dirt track site on Hwy 65 and Jim will check on the possibility of using a part of the land adjacent to MoKan Dragway. Discussion of fun drags for OMR members at either Rogersville or MoKan. Discussion of a OMR cruise to Flippin, Arkansas, sometime this summer. Discussion of replacing the date of the snowed-out autocross with another autocross. Motion by Matt that the Pitt State event will become the replacement points event for OMR, second by Jeff. Passed. Midiv report by Jim. Attendance was a few people higher than last year even with the rain. Event was judged a winner for the region.
