Ozark Mountain Region SCCA BOD minutes from June 5, 2012.  Members present: RE Curtis Wood, Matt Longpine, Justin Huffman, Jeff Moore, Tim Datema, Bud Weeks, and Sam Henry, plus 5 OMR members.
 
Call to order: Curtis.
 
Secretary's report: motion to waive reading of minutes and accept as written by Jeff, second by Justin.  Passed.
 
Treasurer's report:  The only outstanding bills are a sanction fee, reimbursing Jim Rowland for expenses building timer hose for rallycross, and a few small items.
Motion to accept report by Matt, second by Justin.  Passed.
 
Solo report: next autocross is at Crowder College.  Justin will transport trailer, Jim will do the course.  Flour and water will be needed, other supplies appear to be OK.
 
Discussion of staging an autocross at Pittsburg State this fall.  There is a campus group that would like to sponsor an event; CAM, the Christian Automotive Majors, met with Bud and would like to be the host campus group.  Discussion centered around whether we would schedule an additional event or replace an existing event.  Also discussed was the possibility of avoiding scheduling an event opposite an event by 4-State Corvette club.  Bud will check date of fall break at PSU and current 4SV schedule.
 
Discussion about the possiblility of adding road tire classes for OMR autocrosses.  It is still uncertain if the timing software would be adequate as is, or if it would need to be updated which would incur some expense.  Matt will continue to evaluate.  An informal survey will be taken at the next autocross of interest in road tire classes.  It was brought up that SCCA national should be contacted to see if they plan to continue road tire classes next year and if the treadwear rating used this year, 140, will continue into next year.
 
Rallycross: no report.
 
Discussion about having business cards printed that have the OMR autocross and rallycross schedule on them.  Sara Huffman will work on cards.  Also discussed was the idea of having incentives for OMR members who recruit new members and how to give credits for recruiting new members.
