It's time for the 4th weekend of the Midwest Division Solo Series presented by R&S Racing and Solo Performance Specialties. Ozark Mountain Region SCCA is pleased to present this exciting weekend of autocross at Crowder College Truck Driving School in Neosho, Missouri. Enjoy June in the Ozarks with 375,000 square feet of grippy, tire-friendly, and wide open asphalt. Located just south of Joplin, Missouri, the Crowder College Truck Driving School site is centrally located to the Midwest division, and is an easy four-lane haul from most locations via I-44 and I-49.

New this year! Live timing on site via our wifi. We have new T&S software (Axtime) this year and it allows this feature. Instructions will be handed out in your packets at registration. Pro-tip - if you use this to follow along with the event as it unfolds - turn off your 4G or prioritize your wifi connection to help maintain your connection to our routers. Specifics depend on phone type and model. Anyhow, it's cool, we've been using it this year for our regional events and been getting very positive feedback on it.

What is an Inter-regional Solo?
If you have never been to a divisional-level autocross, this is your chance to compete against some of the best drivers from the Midwest by combining the best times from two days of competition. Want to become better at autocross? Come to this event and compete and observe some of the best drivers in this part of the country and allow some of their skills to rub off on you. Seriously, there's a lot to be learned from observation and paying attention at higher level events like this. This will also be a points-paying regional event for members of the OMRSCCA host region, and loaner helmets will be available. More information here:

-> All About a SCCA Divisional Autocross

Pricing is as follows:

$70 for SCCA members for both days. This includes the meal on Saturday night.

Additional meals are $10

Junior Karts are $40 for both days for SCCA members. Junior Karting Steward will have to be provided by participant.

$20 weekend SCCA memberships are available and mandatory for those that are not SCCA annual members

While discouraged, for those people who can only attend for one day due to scheduling conflicts and so forth, the member rate is $45 (dinner not included). Do try to come for both days, though. It's fun, and adds to the overall quality of the event.  Also, this arrangement is by appointment only.

Pre-registration is required, and payment can be made !!! ONLY BY CASH OR CHECK !!! at the event. SCCA weekend memberships will be accepted.

Car Numbers and Classes - Note Differences as started in 2016

Car Numbers are NOT completely exclusive for this season. We will be allowing duplicate numbers as long as they are in different classes. If any given number in a class has already been used in an event this year, then that number/class combination is reserved for the remainder of the year, and will not be available to any other driver.  Please note - in order to facilitate this change, we are counting on Course workers to follow standard radio protocol and properly identify car# AND CLASS when calling in to T&S. Thanks

There are gas stations, WalMart, and fast food on Highway 59 about a mile North of the intersection of MO-D. There is no air available at the site, so prepare accordingly.

Directions from Springfield
Take I-44 to US 71 South, and exit at Highway 60 Neosho/Seneca. Go East to the light at US 59/71B (WalMart will be on your right). Turn right to go South on 59, and follow the signs for Crowder College and Highway MO-D. Turn left onto MO-D, and it will take you straight to Crowder College. Once you reach the stop sign at the entrance of Crowder, turn right onto Doniphan and head towards the windmill. Turn left onto National Guard Drive just past the windmill, and follow the SCCA signs and cones to the site.

Also, camping is allowed on and adjacent to the "small" lot where we paddock. Tents may use the grass right off of the lot. No RV hookups are available, and buildings with bathrooms will be locked at night (although there will be porta potties available). The campus is secure and patrolled. Follow our good behavior practices just like we do during the day and abide by the rules of the campus. Keep in mind also, that this is a military training facility and as such is worthy of an appropriate level of respect. This is a premiere autocross site. We want to do everything possible to maintain our good relationship with Crowder College. No hooning.

In other words, none of this:

Run / Work
Typically, half of the classes run in one heat, while other other half help work the event. Then we switch after lunch. Work assignments will be balanced to ensure even work coverage for all stations in all heats. If you show up late to the event or late to your work assignment, you may not be allowed to participate.

If we have over 80 entrants, we will typically go to a three-heat format:

  • Work heat 1 / Drive heat 3
  • Work heat 2 / Drive heat 1
  • Work heat 3 / Drive heat 2

Crowder College has asked us to sign a waiver at every event in addition to the normal SCCA waiver. If you have access to a printer, please print and fill out a copy in advance so you don't have to stand around filling one out at the gate to the site. ... elease.pdf

ALSO: Please fix your fluid leaks prior to the event, and be prepared to clean up after yourselves should you drip onto the pavement.  We want to continue to be good stewards of this excellent site, and expect our participants to behave appropriately. Thank you.

Don't hesitate to ask any questions here on our Forum or via our Facebook page. See you there!
